My fees are based entirely upon the size and condition of your photo and range from $25 to $250 for most photos (panoramas can run as high as $950 depending on their size). For a FREE and NO OBLIGATION QUOTE, Send a high resolution .jpg of your photo to joellesteele@photorestorics.com and I will respond with a firm price. You may want to look at some damaged photos and the approximate costs to restore them for comparison to the amount of damage in your photo. HOW TO SUBMIT A PHOTO. Scan your photo in color (even if it is black and white) at a minimum of 300 dpi (preferably 600 dpi), do NOT alter the image in any way. Save it as a .jpg and send it as an E-mail attachment to me at joellesteele@photorestorics.com. Turnaround time depends on how busy I am, but 2-3 working days is about average. PAYMENT. After you have reviewed and approved a low-resolution proof of your restored photo by E-mail, please make your payment by credit card to joellesteele@joellesteele.com at www.paypal.com. Upon receipt of payment, your restored photo will be sent to you as an E-mail attachment in a .jpg and also in an archival .tif format. Depending on file size, you may receive these files in separate E-mails. PRINTING. I do not print photos, but you can take your digitally restored file to a camera store for processing, you can print it out on your printer, or you can use one of the many online photo printing services. When you receive your proof, I will tell you exactly what the maximum size is for printing it, as it may be slightly smaller or slightly larger than your original. COLLECTIONS. Library and museum collections are priced according to the number of photos and the overall degree of damage. Please contact me with details and scanned samples, and I will supply you with an estimate or a firm quote. Alternate payment methods are also available. ADDITIONAL FEES. Scanning is $10 per photo, or $10 per segment for panoramic photos requiring multiple scans. Photographing of images under glass and some panoramas start at $45 per photo. Burning your restored images to a CD and mailing them by U.S. mail is $5. Sales tax applies to services performed for individuals and entities located in Washington state.
